Ana
Calderon was trained at Carmen Roche Ballet School and at the
Royal Conservatory of Dance in Madrid. In 2004 she was awarded
with the Grand Prize Princess Grace Foundation of Monaco.
Her professional career
began in 2005 at the Zurich Junior Ballet, where she performed
various classical ballets from Heinz Spoerli such as: "Don
Quixote"; "Swan Lake"; "Coppelia";
"Midsummer Night Dream" and "Les Indes Galantes".
In 2006, she joined
Zurich Ballet, where she widened her repertoire with choreographies
such as: "La Milonga" (Spoerli); "Capture"
(Nandita Shankardass); "Elegie Für tänzer"
and "Chas" (Spoerli).
From August 2007 to
April 2008 she dance with Corella & Friends Group, afterwards
she joined Corella Ballet. In 2010 she was promoted to Soloist.
She has danced with
the Corella Ballet: Red Couple in "Bruch Violín
Concerto"; First Variation Act II in "La Bayadère";
Soloist Classical Couple in "String Sextet"; First
Odalisque in "Le Corsaire Suite"; Small Swan in "Swan
Lake"; Witch in "Macbeth"; "Who Cares?";
Second Couple in "DGV"; Ana Bolena in "VIII"
and Friend in "Raymonda's Suite".
