His first contact with the dance was through the Vasca Traditional Dance.

From 1999 to 2004 was trained for Mentxu Medel. In 2002 he was the winner of the Guipuzcoa Aurresku. In 2007, and with the support of a Scholarship from the Guipuzcoa Diputación, he finished his formation in classical dance at The Royal Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Madrid.

He participated in the Europe Dance project (Editions 2006-2007), which offers to the students an additional high level formation for upgraded.

He has performed as guest dancer in the 25th Anniversary Dance Studio Thalia.

Agirretxe joined the Ballet Corella in 2008. His repertoire includes: Solor's Ffriend in "La Bayadère"; "Clear"; Stomper "In the Upper Room" and as corps de ballet in "Bruch Violín Concerto"; "String Sextet"; "VIII" and "DGV".
