She began her ballet studies at the Zaragoza Municipal Professional Conservatory and continued her training at the Carmina de Ocaña Ballet School.

She has danced as soloist and principal roles at the “Encuentros coreográficos de Ballet Clásico y Danza Contemporánea” and at the “Gala de Jóvenes Bailarines”.

She has danced with the Zaragoza Ballet: principal role in “Nutcracker” (Clara), as well as corps de ballet roles.

In 2008, María Sordo joined the Corella Ballet. She has danced: Third Girl in "Fancy Free", and as corps de ballet in "La Bayadère"; "Swan Lake"; "Bruch Violín Concerto"; "String Sextet" and "VIII".
